Figure AI is running a Figure 03 humanoid on a treadmill to find out what breaks. On 19 October, founder Brett Adcock posted that the robot had walked for nine straight days, covering 348 miles (about 560 km) in 1.2 million steps. "Started as a side project to stress the robot for any failures," he wrote. "Let's see how long it can go."
On 23 October he gave an update: "we're still going strong at 13 days, 422 miles, and 1.5 million steps!" That is about 680 km.
The figures come only from Adcock's posts and have not been independently checked. The posts do not say whether any faults occurred, whether one robot did the whole run, or how it was powered, so the run says little yet about battery life or reliability at other tasks.
